Herenco Organizes for Continued Rapid Growth – Forms Three New Business Areas
For the past few years, Herenco has undergone a transformation with the goal of building a large, diversified, and profitable industrial group. The strategy involves organic growth as well as acquisitions within existing business areas, while also actively seeking opportunities in new industries. Taking the next step on this growth journey, Herenco is now forming three new business areas from companies previously organized within Herenco Invest. The objective is to create increased focus, accelerate growth, and simplify the organization.
Alongside the packaging group Emballator, where Herenco has full ownership, the following business areasare now established:
Ventilation and indoor climate: Currently, this comprises a group of specialized product companies within ventilation, fire protection, window renovation, and more. Together, they contribute to a clean, comfortable, and safe indoor climate.
Sun Protection: Includes the nationwide franchise chain Sun Off, selling, installing, and maintaining sun protection for businesses, public institutions, and home owners. It also encompasses an awning and sun protection factory in Mullsjö.
FloorCo: Consists of a group of leading floor contracting companies with particularly strong market positions in and around Småland. The companies install all types of floors for businesses, public institutions, and private homes.

The new organizational structure places these independent business areas directly under Herenco, replacing the previous arrangement with Herenco Invest as owners. Through several acquisitions made under the leadership of Ulf Rostedt, Herenco Invest has laid the foundation for these new business areas.

Recruitment of business area managers for Ventilation and indoor climate, as well as FloorCo has begun. Since August 2023, Joakim Nimarker has been responsible for the activities within Sun Protection. All business area managers will report directly to Herenco CEO Anders Davidsson, who will serve as acting business area manager for Ventilation and indoor climate and FloorCo during the recruitment period.
Ulf Rostedt will remain within Herenco for some time to ensure a smooth handover and will then leave the group for new assignments.
