CHANGE OF LEADERSHIP AT EMBALLATOR – KRISTOFFER ASKLÖV NEW CEO
Over the past three years, under the leadership of Kent Viitanen, Emballator has established a customer-oriented organization an implemented a strategy focused on growth, both organic and through acquisitions. Emballator has successfully strengthened its market positions, including acquisitions in Finland (Europak) and France (Avez). The strategy going forward is to continue the growth journey based on service, innovation, and sustainability in the Nordic region and Northern Europe.
Since the beginning of the year, Kent Viitanen has been planning to end his time at Emballator, and in parallel, Herenco has been looking for a replacement. It is now clear that Kristoffer Asklöv will become the new CEO, starting in January 2026.
Kristoffer most recently served as COO & CSO at Kitron Group, a Scandinavian EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) company that develops, industrialises and manufactures electronic products forcompanies in various market segments. During his four years at Kitron, Kristoffer has had overall
responsibility for global sales and marketing, strategic acquisitions, and streamlining purchasing and production. Kristoffer has previously held senior positions at Scanfil and Partnertech.

Kristoffer Asklöv, born in 1977, lives with his family in Linköping and will be based at Emballator’s headquarters in Ulricehamn. He will visit several of Emballator’s units during the fourth quarter of 2025 as part of his introduction.
Kent Viitanen will remain in his current role for the rest of the year and will hand over to Kristoffer Asklöv over the coming months, to give him the best possible start.
